For more than a decade, Star hosted the Body, Mind, Spirit Yoga and Healing Arts Center of Charlottesville, a vital community of healers that hosted workshops, conferences and services for yoga, healthy living and massage.

She continues that work today — its current manifestation is her individual bodywork and mentorship practice, which understands the body as a multidimensional landscape of awareness. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology & Archaeology, with a minor in Appalachian Studies, a Masters Degree in Transpersonal Psychology, and certification in Therapeutic Massage, Integral Yoga, Dreamwork, and Spiritual Mentorship. Star weaves these  scientific, somatic, anatomical, and esoteric trainings in her practice to help clients reach deeper aspects of their being.
