Deanna Star Matthews now welcomes clients to her private practice for massage in Charlottesville, Virginia. Her approach blends the power of touch, the study of ancient and modern teachings, the desire to serve, and most of all….. loving kindness.

For more than a decade, Star hosted the Body, Mind, Spirit Yoga and Healing Arts Center of Charlottesville, a vital community of healers that hosted workshops, conferences and services for yoga, healthy living and massage.

She continues that work today — its current manifestation is her individual massage therapy practice, holding space for people of all ages, gender, and spiritual paths. She is working towards a Masters Degree in Transpersonal Psychology and will be offering new integrative modalities, such as embodiment techniques, dreamwork and regression hypnosis to help clients reach deeper aspects of their being.
